The job interview for freshers or for the bank jobs are mostly of the candidates who are fresher or just passed out from the colleges, and have passed the written exam. So how to approach such interview, what kinds of questions can be asked and how to answer these questions.
In job interview the process by which employer identifies the potential and prospective employees who can work for the organisation for longer period of time. ( Kindly note that this serving for longer period of time and not leaving the organisation for other greener pastures are the main things which are looked in especially if you are appearing for bank and insurance companies public sector companies.
The interview consists of face to face interaction with the aspiring candidate and panel member of the interview may vary from 2 to 5 depending upon the type and cadre for which student is appearing for.
For example in State Bank of India the second round after clearing the written exam consists of group discussion and personal interview and panel members are around 5 in numbers.
The initial phase of interview starts with the welcome part where in candidates are made comfortable and made to sit for interview and simple questions like TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF is asked.
Then next question which may come is WHY YOU WANT TO JOIN THIS ORGANISATION OR COMPANY NAME OR BANK NAME for which you are appearing.
Further next phase of judgment is of the knowledge , skill and expertise of the candidate by asking him the subject matter question such as in which he has done his graduation or post graduation or if you have done any special qualification the question shall be of those subjects but mostly basic in nature.
Next phase may come is for judging the personal qualities as leadership qualities, communication skills and decision making skill sets.
The interview mostly is of unstructured manner as questions can be asked in random manner.

The above questions can be asked in any kind of interview and especially bank exam interview or insurance exam. Try to prepare for these questions by writing on paper and rehearse them before going to exam if you are able to answer these with ease and comfort and fluently then you make a very good first impression on the interview panel.
