1. Applications are invited for filling up the following posts in General Reserve Engineer Force from Indian Male Nationals only.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION, PAY SCALES AND AGE LIMIT
Post No 01
Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs 4200 (Revised 6th CPC)
SUPERINTENDENT BUILDING & ROAD Gde-II {BEING RE-DESIGNATED AS JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)}
Age between 18 to 27 years.
Essential Qualification:
03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institution or Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from College of Military Engineering Pune.
AND
Has to pass written and oral test in English/Hindi.
Post No 02
Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs 4200 (Revised 6th CPC)
HINDI TRANSLATOR
Age between 18 to 27 years.
Essential Qualification:
Masters Degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi respectively as main subject at Degree level.
OR
Masters Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi / English with English and Hindi as main subject at Degree level.
OR
Masters Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi / English with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi respectively as main subject at Degree level.
OR
Masters Degree in Hindi/English or any other Subject with Hindi/ English medium with English/Hindi respectively as a main subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English as main subject or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main subject plus recognized Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central /State Govt. office including Govt of India undertaking.
AND
Has to pass written and oral test in Hindi and English both.
Post No 03
Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs 2400 (Revised 6th CPC)
UPPER DIVISION CLERK
Age between 18 to 27 years.
Essential Qualification:
Graduate of recognized university or equivalent. Should be able to type at a speed of 30/25 words per minutes in English/Hindi. Should possess practical knowledge in Word processing and Data processing in Computer.
AND
Has to pass written, typing and oral test in English/Hindi.
Post No 04
Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs 2400 (Revised 6th CPC)
STENOGRAPHER GRADE-III
Age between 18 to 27 years.
Essential Qualification:
i) Matriculate or equivalent. ii) Should pass trade test at a speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography (English or Hindi)
The candidate will be given one dictation test in English or in Hindi at the speed of 80 words per minute for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the shorthand test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes.
(a) Candidates will be required to transcribe their short hand notes on typewriters and for this purpose, they will be required to bring their own typewriters with them.
(b) Second chance for stenography test will not be given to those candidates whose typewriters go out of order during the currency of test.
(c)Candidates who opt to take the stenography test in Hindi will be required to learn English stenography and vice-versa, after their appointment.
AND
Has to pass stenography/written and oral test in English/Hindi.
