OLA Cabs to resume operations in 100 Cities

India's home gown aggregator cab hailing company OLA Cabs has informed that it will resume operations in around 100 cities of the country  but with safety precautions including compulsory masks for riders and non - AC rides. It is being widely said that AC leads to circulation of air which can lead to spread of Corona Virus.

Company has already pout hold is share ride services as well as ola bike - a two wheeler ride service.

Meanwhile as per government guidelines it can only operate in tbe green zone notified by the central government of India.

Analysis

This is another good initiative by the company which will help both riders as well as drivers and cab owner who will get to earn something as due to Covid 19 Lockdown in India all the cab services are closed since more than one and half months.

Another important thing to note is that most of these cab are brought in through the bank sponsored loans and which if not repaid may turn into NPA leading to balance sheet degradation of banks.

Hence this will be win win situation for both riders, drivers and Indian banks which are already struggling due to mounting NPAs especially ill managed nationalised Public Sector Banks
