Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa (CESU), a leading Power Distribution
Utility engaged in the distribution of electricity approximately with 11 lakh consumers
spread over eight revenue districts in the State of Orissa, invites applications from the
eligible candidates for the following position:
CATEGORY – V: MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (HR)
1. Qualification: The candidate must be a citizen of India having Degree in any
Discipline with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma of 2 years duration in Personnel
Management/ HRD / HRM/PM & IR/MBA with specialization in HR from a recognized
University / Institution. The applicant must have secured at-least 60% marks in aggregate
in the Qualifying Examination (Post Graduate Degree or Diploma). The passing of Oriya
Language Test equivalent to ME Standard is essential. Basic knowledge in computer
operation is essential.
2. Age : The candidate should be above 21 years of age and below 32 years of age as on
01.08.2009.
The eligible candidates shall be required to appear at written examination or / and
personal interview at their own cost. The date and venue of which shall be intimated in
due course. On selection, they shall be appointed as Management Trainees for a
minimum period of one year. The training period may be extended for another six months
to one year, if his performance is found unsatisfactory. During the training period, they
shall be paid monthly-consolidated stipend @ Rs.8,000/-.
On successful completion of Training, they shall be placed as Jr. Manager (HR)
on probation in the Pay Scale of Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- in E-2
Grade with D.A , H.R.A, Medical Allowance and other perquisites as per Rules of the
Utility.
