Who are we looking for?

Role 

SQL Developer 

Experience Required: 1- 4 years of hands on experience in T-SQL 

Sr. SQL Developer - 4+ years of hands on experience in T-SQL 

Expectations 

Develop, enhance and maintain the existing data scripts and objects in DB. 
Perform regular quality checks on queries to ensure smooth functioning of daily jobs. 
Provide business users with business intelligence data as and when required. 
Create and maintain documentation for the DB objects and relations and the dependencies. 
Create and maintain the impact analysis matrix from the DB point of view. 
Monitoring and performance tuning of DB objects on a regular basis. 
Unit test new DB objects created. 

Primary Skills 

Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. 
Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments. 
Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting. 
Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices (SSIS/SSRS) 
Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives. 
Technical documentation skills. 
Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail 
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment 
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 
Good written and oral communication skills 
Backup database, Database recovery models, moving databases 
SQL Server performance issue troubleshooting: SQL Server profiles, DMV and DMF, perf mon 
DBA Task automation and maintenance 

Secondary Skills 

Hands on experience in SQL Server 2005 and above with good exposure in T-SQL 
Hands on experience on tools like SSRS and SSIS
