Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council ( BIRAc ) is a Schedule"B" Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of India, Department of Biotechnology ( DBT ), Ministry of Science & Technology , Government of India.

The main mandate to promote and nurture innovation research and growth of the biotech sextor. BIRAC's focus is on empowering and enabling the biothech innovation ecosystem for affordable product development.

BIRAC is inviting applications from qualified, experienced and ambitious professionals for the following positions:

• Project Officer /Manager– Level 1/2 (Vacancy-2 Gen 1 OBC)

• Manager / Senior Manager (Accounts) - Level 2/3 (Vacancy-1)

• Team Lead / Head IP & Technology Management - Level 3/4 (Vacancy-1)

• Manager Administration - Level 2 (Vacancy-1)

All positions are under a Contract of Services initially for 3 years and thereafter based on performance renewed for 4 years and then every 5 years. A very well designed Career Growth Plan has been developed which provides opportunities for career progression within bands and levels.
