Expected Dearness Allowance (DA) for Public Sector Bank ( PSB ) Employees from May 2020

Present Dearness Allowance for Public Sector as well as old generation Private sector Bank is 75.9% ( 759 DA Slabs )

With pandemic of COVID 19 - Corona Virus rampant globally and across our own country , there is very less likely demand for products thus inflation figures will not move ahead infact it is likely to fall down.

Hence on assuming above the DA is likely to fall to the levels of 75.4 % down by 0.5% from the February 2020 figures of 75.9%.

Considering the present situation our banker brothers should not get disheartened as from August 2020 onwards there is likely to have sharp increase in the DA slabs & percentage.

Final Dearness Allowance ( DA ) For Bank Employees Increases by 2.7% from August 2015

Again from the month of August 2015 , we are almost on our regular prediction target for likely DA increase to final increase in DA for bank employees.

We predicted that it will increase by 2.8%  but finally it came a bit low to 2.7% increase in DA for bankers from August 2015 to October 2015.

Now Final DA upon basic and special allowance for Officers Cadre is given below in detailed chart  the final DA being 36.40%.

Final DA ( Dearness Allowance ) for Bank Employees- PSB Bankers from February 2015

With the CPI of the month of October, November and December at following levels

 Based on the calculations done the there will be very meagre increase in the DA for Bankers including SBI Bank which in Percentage terms is 0.30% and in terms of slab only 2 Slab

So the new total DA for Bank staff both officers and Clericals staff shall be 110.10% of the Basic Pay ( Earlier DA for the month of November, December 2014 and January 2015 was 109.8%

Following is the DA chart for the Public Sector Bank employees which shows the total new DA payable from February 2015 and difference payable.

Likely - Projected Dearness Allowance - DA - for PSB Bankers from February 2015

Presently Dearness Allowance ( DA ) for Bank employees including SBI is 109.8% which is for the monthly salary of November 2014, December 2014 and January 2015.

For the next three months which is February 2015, March 2015 and April 2015 the DA is likely to be stagnant or may even fall from the present levels of 109.8% of the basic pay.

As per data released for consumer price index CPI for October and November 2014 is 5774.95 and for December it is likely to be same or fall below to levels of 5750 as projected by our research team.

So for both Clerical and Officer staff of Public sector banks , Old generation private sector banks and State Bank of India ( SBI ) the Dearness allowance is very likely to be at the present levels which is 109.8%

Please also note that there can be even a fall in the DA level for bankers in tune of 0.25% to 0.75%
